Senior Presentation Specialist (Evening)

The Senior Presentation Specialist will demonstrate, through their job skill performance and professional demeanor, a commitment to deliver work that represents the highest degree of accuracy achievable from both the technical and content aspects of the job. Work will be performed according to established agency job flow procedures and will meet deadline commitments.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Ability to meet day to day client deliverables by executing quickly and efficiently in PowerPoint through use of animation such as motion paths, triggers, hyperlinks, audio and video files
  • Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and Keynote with great design sense and art skills
  • Ability to function as the single point person in the conference room and work alongside senior management, executives, strategists, medical directors and others
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software when necessary on both PC/MAC
  • Travel required to be the single point person to service the New Business team which includes technical support
  • Demonstrates collaboration, professionalism and displays a sense of urgency
  • Proficient in other MS Office applications such as Word and Excel
  • Needs to be flexible with scheduling, including being on call for weekend/holiday work
  • Ensure quality, timeliness and overall client satisfaction. Candidate should be proactive, upbeat and solutions oriented. Candidate should be have great attention to detail and have a positive approach

Additional Responsibilities

  • Double-check all work and pay attention to details
  • Assure that every job is accurate for both content and technicalities whether originated, supervised or handled in any other fashion
  • Initiate communication with the job originator to clarify direction or make queries to assure directions are clear and the job will be accurately executed
  • Follow established departmental and agency procedures to name and backup files accurately and to place them in the appropriate directory on the main server
  • Proactively seek work from the Director and/or peers to assure continuous job flow and minimize downtime between assignments
  • Continually upgrade skills through use of shortcuts, software tutorials (Lynda.com) and working with other team members
  • May require to work off-site when needed
  • Perform other job-related tasks and assist in other service areas as assigned by the Director, Presentations
  • Manage and bill time accurately
  • When needed, provide PC with an estimate of when the job will be completed
  • Is enthusiastic and adaptable to change. Takes initiative to develop new skill-sets in various digital mediums and agency technology advancements
  • Assist other members of department as needed when workload allows
  • Demonstrate good problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Maintain open communications with peers and department managers to help answer questions and provide assistance and promote an atmosphere of teamwork
  • Set an example for a professional and business atmosphere within the department and the agency
  • Establish a team spirit and working relationship with all members of the agency departments; PC, editorial, art, copy, account services
  • Project an honest, positive, can-do attitude, and generate an atmosphere of teamwork and enthusiasm by demonstrating respect for peers and supervisors and discouraging negative discourse wherever and whenever it arises
  • Project professional, positive attitude toward all Agency members and Clients
  • Uphold Agency quality standards in servicing the Client

Qualifications

  • Expert knowledge of PowerPoint
  • Proficient in Keynote, Word, Excel, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat
  • Technically proficient with the ability to teach and troubleshoot in all pertinent programs
  • Skilled in written composition, grammar, punctuation and spelling required for editing material
  • 1-3 years prior experience as a presentation specialist or desktop publisher (Healthcare Advertising Agency or Investment Bank preferred)
  • College degree and/or coursework in graphic arts preferred
  • Prior experience in healthcare is beneficial
